4 GENERATIONS OF AMERICAN FARMERS
Following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, who immigrated to the United States from Austria in 1952, Marc Arnusch became the third generation of Arnusch descendants to work and cultivate the land located beneath the shadows of the Rocky Mountains. This is where Arnusch Farms thrives in a unique farming community known as Prospect Valley.
Our Valley enjoys highly productive soils and lies directly on top of the Lost Creek groundwater basin, allowing Arnusch Farms to utilize the water resource to irrigate their 2,200-acre land base. The core of the farming operation is centered around cereal grain production; including certified seed wheat, seed barley, and wheat and barley for the thriving Colorado craft brew and distillery industry. Corn for grain and high-quality corn silage and alfalfa for surrounding dairies, round out our production.
Today, Arnusch Farms is adding the 4th Generation to the family's farm. The Arnusch's son, Brett, has come back to the farm, after graduating from college, and is advancing and promoting the technology aspects of the farm's operation. Soil moisture probes, Granular accounting software, and drone imagery are just some of the advancements in technology that Brett is advancing within the operation, to make the farm more efficient, sustainable, practical, and most importantly profitable.
At Arnusch Farms, we are committed to growing sustainable, high-quality crops with the help of technology, innovative thinking, hard work, and all with the passion of a generational family operation. It's this commitment that has driven our family for generations, and it's this value that will always be at the core of our business.
